Anatomy for Yoga Teachers. What you need to know to keep your students safe!

This fully online, self-paced anatomy training is excellent for the yoga student who wishes to know more about how their body works, or for the Yoga Teacher who feels they need to deepen their knowledge, and learn how to keep their students safe.

In three sections we will cover everything from the human body systems, the anatomy of breath, the nervous system and how it can be impacted by various yoga practices, unsafe cues that are prevalent in the world of yoga, and how we can avoid using them, and so much more!

Each section has printable PDF notes and a 1.5-2 hour video lecture.

At the end of the course you will receive a certificate with which you can claim 14 Continuing Education Credits with the Yoga Alliance.

Mandy Lawson, E-RYT 500, RYCT, YACEP is passionate about helping others on their path to remembering the joy that is inside them. She chooses to do this through Yoga, as that is what created the change in her life and allowed her to build the life of her dreams.

Mandy has more than 20 years of experience in the health and fitness industry, and has been teaching yoga for over 13 years. Prior to her focus on yoga, Mandy worked as a personal trainer for individuals and groups. Mandy also holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is a certified Hypnotherapist.
