Everybody has stress in their lives and the antidote to stress is relaxation!

Through the practice of Restorative Yoga, we can give people the skills to self-soothe, relax and find peace within themselves in a safe and healthy way.

We use props to deeply support the body, eliminating the element of effort while holding poses for extended periods and using breath to release tension.

This course provides an outline and many poses that can be used within the outline, allowing you to easily teach restorative classes while still making each class your own.

Restorative Yoga is a state of being, rather than doing.

MEET YOUR GUIDE

Mandy Lawson


Mandy Lawson, E-RYT 500, RYCT, YACEP is Canadian born, but has called Costa Rica home for nearly ten years. She is passionate about helping others on their path to remembering the joy that is inside them. She chooses to do this through Yoga, as that is what created the change in her life and allowed her to build the life of her dreams.

Mandy has more than 20 years of experience in the health and fitness industry, and has been teaching yoga for over 9 years. Prior to her focus on yoga, Mandy worked as a personal trainer for individuals and groups. Mandy also holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is a certified Hypnotherapist.
